I will be posting some more fun layouts on Tuesday using Lollipop Press kits! Check back soon!

I came across an interesting article about getting your layouts published in magazines. Make sure you check it out. I recently entered a layout to a Creating Keepsakes call and haven't heard anything yet :( I really wish I had seen this article before. However, I did get my Cutie Pie layout published in the Gingerscrap Street Magazine which was exciting.   Also be sure to check out the Lollipop Press Blog Hop, which starts January 16, 2011.  Each blog will have one an item to download for FREE! You must visit each blog to collect the elements for a whole kit. Yay!

On another note. Here is a layout I made of me and my sweetie! These are images from our engagement session in 2009. I have never scrapped these photos before, so it was exciting to get to use these in a Valentine's day layout.

Here's a new layout I made using a picture I took at Loose Park in Kansas City, MO. I used an overlay from Delicious Scraps and made the digital paper myself. The flowers are from Mary Ann Wise Delightful Felt Flowers Kit found at Design House Digital. The Spring circle is from Carina Gardner Spring Stamps. The font is Scriptina and Sylfaen.

So I had taken a long vacation from digital scrapbooking because of my new photography business, but today I started missing it and did two new layouts with some old pictures. The first one is a layout using pictures from our honeymoon to Chichen Itza. It was a super hot day but a really cool experience seeing the ancient pyramids in Mexico.  And look how skinny I was just a year or so ago... ahh what marriage does to you :)

This layout is really simple. I need to get back into the scrapping swing of things. I used a paper from my Summertime Sweets Kit which can be found here in my Etsy shop. The leaves are from the Delicious Scraps Fresh kit. The font is Moksha and Vrinda.

This second layout uses pictures from New Years Eve with my hubby last year. I tried to use the triangle design principle that my sister-in-law talks about in her blog here. More information on design principles can be found here. All of the elements are from Delicious Scraps Fresh Kit and the font is Palace Script MT.

Hopefully, I will get back to scrapping more often now!

I have been really busy learning new Photoshop techniques and making digital scrapbook pages. The class I am currently taking is Digi in Deep from JessicaSprague.com. It is a lot of fun learning new ways to add detail to a scrapbook page. Below are a few of my recent pages.
